An integration workshop: what is it?

The association has set up two approved Integration Workshops (ACI).

We launched the first Integration Project in December 2018, supported by the recycling center. Since October 2021, a new project has been launched, supported by the wood recycling workshop.

The ACIs offer support and professional activity to unemployed people experiencing particular social and professional difficulties. In particular:

  • young people under 26 in great difficulty,

  • beneficiaries of minimum social benefits (RSA, ASS, etc.),

  • long-term job seekers,

  • workers recognized as disabled.

The structures supporting an ACI receive financial support to carry out their mission. The Récobrada recycling center is funded by the Departmental Directorate for the Economy, Employment, Labor, and Solidarity (DDEETS), the Haute-Garonne Departmental Council, and the European Social Fund (ESF).

Twenty employees on a professional path are being monitored as part of the projects. They are hired for positions as multi-skilled valuers or woodwork assembly workers and can benefit from work placements, work placements (PMSMP ), secondments and fixed-term contracts to discover other professions, refine a project, diversify or develop their skills.

For any information, contact the employment center, the local mission, Cap emploi or the Récobrada recycling center.

Testimonials

“Working at Recobrada has given me stability. I ’ve put a foot back into the world of work (something I hadn’t done for a long time). I have the opportunity to work in a field that interests me,” Fabien said .

“Working gave me self-confidence and kept me in the dynamics of employment,” Barbara said.

"When I arrived at Recobrada I didn't know how to do much, and now I've learned a lot of things I didn't know how to do before. I'm happy with Recobrada," Syrina said.

“Recobrada brought me a lot of things and helped me in my professional project; I really appreciated the way I worked with the supervisors, the good atmosphere with the team spirit,” Franck.

“I was happy to meet a team rich in diversity. It allowed me to explore other horizons. I was able to learn more about others as well as about myself; confirm choices. The implementation of the Label Emmaüs online store, which I have been participating in for a month, fully satisfies me,” Hélène.

“Agree to work in a recycling center to share a way of life that is economically ecological!”, Anne-Sophie.

"Being a priority in my life to respect nature, I really like to contribute to the advancement of Recobrada. It's been 2 years since I was offered an integration contract which allows me to get back into the professional world and take all the necessary steps to return to working life. I would like to thank the association and all the small workers who make Recobrada exist," Eddy
