The Electro Workshop
Repair workshop open to members on Thursday mornings.
from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Contact: eric.chocat@recobrada.org

The recovery of electrical and electronic equipment (3E) has become a priority at the recycling center with the hiring of a dedicated employee in January 2023.
Eric Chocat, the workshop's coordinator, runs a repair workshop every Thursday at the recycling center. To participate, simply join the association.
Outside of Thursdays, the workshop welcomes employees on an integration program who wish to develop skills in this area.
What are we going to do?
* Acquire simple notions in electricity.
* Make a visual estimate of the repairability of an object.
* Make a pre-diagnosis based on the object and the breakdown.
* What to disassemble and what to test?
* Organize yourself so that you can then reassemble the object.
* Use the right tools.
What to repair? Anything electrical that is not economically repairable, including large household appliances.
* Small electrical tools (drill, grinder, sander, etc.)
* Small household appliances (coffee maker, iron, coffee grinder, vacuum cleaner, etc.)
* Light fixtures (bedside lamp, halogen lamp, etc.)
* Washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, dryers, cooktops and stoves (gas, electric, ceramic and induction). For refrigerators and freezers, you must call me (06 08 32 98 23) before coming to make a pre-diagnosis because we do not work on the refrigerant circuit but only on the electrical part.

Who repairs?
Well, it's you, we'll only be here to help you find solutions.
What tools should I bring?
* Your screwdrivers, pliers and wrenches of all kinds
* Your measuring devices such as the analog multimeter (with a needle) or digital (without needle), the voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, etc.
current tester screwdrivers.
And if you don't have any tools, come anyway, we'll find some for you.
